As Charge Artist, I created samples and execution process for all scenic elements, while communicating closely with the TD/Designer, and leading a crew of 3 scenic in the completion of the treatments.

The set was in the round and was comprised of the deck, steel platforms with detachable stairs, and a segmented entablature with floating columns.
Most of the deck was painted in space on the permanent flooring. Ramps and the facing on the inside of the lifts were painted in the shop.
The entablature and columns are an exaggerated golden calacatta marble achieved with glazes, as well as gold leaf applied to the cornice and column capitals.
Steel on platforms and stairs was texture with crystalgel and layers of different sheen finishes.
